Three’s Company: Dynamics between Business Owners, Project Managers and Developers

In most companies nowadays, software development teams fall into three general roles:  Those responsible for the ROI of the team (aka product owners), those responsible for execution (aka project managers or Scrum masters) and those responsible for building a quality product that scales (aka developers).  I’ve played all these roles during my career and I believe that often their very nature can lead to misconceptions between roles that can result in poor performance and morale.   In this talk, I’ll elaborate on those misconceptions and talk about what to do about it.
