Nationwide Insurance is a 100 year old, midwestern, Fortune-500, financial services firm. And yet, they have been leaders in developing an end-to-end agile culture that starts in the business and extends through to development, deployment, and operations. This culture has been 10 years in the making with yet greater organizational agility yet to come. Such changes do not come without challenges however. In this session, we will hear about some of the leadership challenges, structural challenges, process challenges, and people challenges that have come up along the way (and continue to!) along with some of the techniques that have been used to overcome those challenges.
